Rafael Graf, born 2000 in Basel, is a cinematographer and filmmaker with swiss-italian roots. Since 2016, he has been working on independent film and photography projects where in the same year he won the photography award at Lumas x annabelle. From 2018 onward, he’s gathered technical experience assisting on different film and advertising sets. From 2020 to 2024, he studied Film at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) with a focus on cinematography, where he not only engaged in camera work but also focused on visual storytelling beyond traditional narration as a director. Currently, Rafael primarily works as a director of photography in both short and feature film productions.
